When to gift your child a cell phone
This is a topic causing a lot of debate in homes in America. When is the right time to gift your children a cell phone. When will they be mature enough to handle it? After September 11, many parents feel that their children will be safer carrying a cell phone. In fact there are many cell phone plans that you can choose specially for your children. Like the prepaid phone plan that start from as low as $50 and limit the amount of calls and texts made.
Cell phone service providers have started launching special cell phone plans for children. Like T-Mobile's family allowance plan that lets you set limits for minutes, messages and downloads on your child's phone. You can also keep track of your child's location by simply logging on to a computer, using Sprint's Family Locator plan or Verizon's Chaperone plan. Cell phones are also a huge distraction during school hours. So you can compare cell phone plans of various service providers and ask them about your ability to shut down phone service for certain hours or keep track of the actual numbers that your child talks to over the phone.

Debut of "Making Green Cool Zone" at the 2008 SEMA Show
Recognizing the specialty-equipment industry’s commitment to green vehicle products and solutions, SEMA has announced plans to showcase those companies whose involvement in green technologies prove that being environmentally friendly can also be cool. The Making Green Cool Zone will be featured inside the South Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Nov 4-7, 2008.
Products, project vehicles and technologies to be featured in the Making Green Cool Zone can be from either exhibiting SEMA-member companies or non-exhibiting companies. The winners will be selected by a panel of experts drawn from relevant automotive fields.
The SEMA industry recognizes that being green extends beyond specific segments of the market. Going green seems to be no longer an option; about 85% of Americans consider themselves environmentalists according to what John Waraniak, SEMA’s vice president of vehicle technology stated.
Greening-up vehicles offer new and exciting business opportunities for SEMA members and the specialty-equipment industry. A lot of green vehicle technologies will be discussed at the SEMA Vehicle Technology Briefing Seminar: “Clean Diesels, Wild Hybrids and Muscle Electrics” to be held on November 5th at the SEMA Show.

Food and Coffee at Seattle
There are some things that the residents of Seattle can’t do without. Coffee is one of them, and great food is another. While they take great pride in the Starbucks chain starting from their domain, there are quite a number of restaurants that are up there in their list of favorites. Dining at a Seattle restaurant is as much a pleasure as sipping a hot cuppa at Starbucks.
You’ll see an eclectic mix of cuisines figuring in the top picks of Seattle food joints. It’s quite an indication of the city’s love for variety. The 58-year-old Canlis Restaurant gives every new restaurant a stiff competition in terms of quality and service. It’s been there ever since anyone can remember. Probably, it’s only next to Starbucks in being synonymous with the city.
Among the best Seattle Restaurants
, you’ll spot couple of sushi joints, a Korean restaurant, more than a handful of inexpensive American steak places, seafood, and the exclusive tapas plates of savory Spanish dishes at Tango. Not a bad array for a city that’s just known for its coffee, and being the ‘Gateway to Alaska’. If you decide to venture on an Alaskan cruise, stop by at Seattle’s famous food joints. There’s no better way to start a holiday.

Why Opt for E-Commerce
What hasn’t the Internet done since it came into existence! It has shrunk the world, quite literally. It first started off with simple correspondence through mail, and then went on to instant messaging, and then undoubtedly, the best of all, is the onset of Internet trading. Now people buy sell items with complete ease and minimum amount of trouble.
With E-commerce, most sellers have a wider market to cater to and also a chance to become international players. Now their business is up and running all through the day, and throughout the year. online selling has bestowed on traders the advantage of catering to prospective customers anytime they want. It’s like a constant flow of business and unstoppable profit.
When trade happens through the web, sellers get to cut down on middlemen and other retailers who suck into profits. Online selling slashes cost, since there’s absolutely no need for existence of mediators who charge a commission. It also gets rid of any order processing faux pas that usually happens with human involvement. Business is really swift for the seller, and buying online is convenient for the purchaser.

All about Kicks!
Advance with kicks, run along, pass it on and shoot! If you thought that was a plot for some action movie shoot-out, you’re mistaken. We’re talking about Football. Football has a long history. Although the origin of the game is not clearly documented, evidence shows that ancient Greeks and Romans played many ball games some of which involved the use of feet.
After several centuries, the game was reinvented by the English. Football has evolved over a very long period of time and has branched out into several categories - Rugby football, American football, Canadian football, Gaelic football and Australian Rules football. Today, football is a widely-watched game and has fans all over the world. Little did our Greek and Roman forefathers know that their casual kicks would kickoff a world-famous sport!

Mesa- The Food Oasis in a Desert
Arizona has taken over Nevada as the fastest growing state in terms of population. It must have quite a number of bellies to feed then. However, some of its major cities seem quite well equipped to do that. Take a look at Mesa, its third largest city; it exudes an assortment of eating joints for hungry citizens and exhausted travelers. The heat must be pushing most travelers into Mesa restaurants invariably.
If you’re a stickler for pizzas to gulp down with chilled beer, drop into Nello’s Pizza. Locals claim they have the best pizzas you’d find in the whole of Arizona. You’ll also find some good tummy fillers like steak and chicken wings at the Texas Roadhouse, Eggington’s TC and Blue Adobe Grille. But Siam Orchid has been rated as the best restaurant in Mesa . It’s a Thai place; and who doesn’t love Thai? You’ll find some great restaurants serving sushi and the neighborhood specialty Mexican too.
While you’re braving the hot breeze and dry deserts of Arizona, halt at Mesa for some much-needed refreshments.
